Just thought I'd pop my head in to enquire if anyone knows of a good 'official' road SWB quattro sport for sale anywhere?
Its sods law that I've seen a few crop up over the last few years and the time hasn't been right. Now the time is right (my garage is finished), I can't find one for love nor money.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks |

Hey thanks for the link - who in their right mind would paint the front grille red!
I think this swiss one is a bit pricey - I was reckoning (hoping) on getting one for about £50-60k. I saw a red one go at auction a couple of years ago for about £45k - it was mint and i've regretted not getting it ever since. |

| There have been several red ones sold over the last few years, friend of mine paid £55k for a 2k mile one, another changed hands for 27 grand. I looked for a couple of years and travelled as far as Poland looking, most were not worth half the asking price. Case of keeping in touch with the right people. Most of the recent cars that have come up for sale are from Switzerland, a certain owner of a quattro specialist in the South West buys most of his from there. |

| I'd be quite happy to pay £55k for a 2k'er, I think thats pretty good really. Also really like them in Red - definitely my fav colour. I guess it's just a question of keeping my eyes peeled. |
