Audi UK RS 4 at Goodwood Festival of Speed

To celebrate the launch of the new Audi RS 4 later this year, Audi UK are offering one lucky owner the fantastic opportunity to have their car displayed alongside the latest Audi range at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, which is taking place between Thursday 28 June and Sunday 1 July.

Not only will the winning RS 4 be showcased on the Audi Pavilion, but the lucky winner will also:

·         Enjoy a pair of VIP tickets to the Festival which includes Audi hospitality and accommodation

·         Experience an exhilarating ride as a passenger in an Audi R8 during the Moving Motor Show

·         Feature in a car and owner article on Audi.co.uk

·         Enjoy an Audi UK courtesy car as a replacement vehicle whilst the RS 4 is being used for the Festival

·         Remember the occasion with professionally taken photographs of the Festival and their RS 4

A select number of owners will be shortlisted and invited to showcase their RS 4 at an exclusive event at Audi UK headquarters in Milton Keynes on Saturday 9 June 2012.  The cars will be judged by a selected panel of specialists and 3 finalists will go through to a Facebook vote where Audi UK fans will be asked to choose the overall winner.

Please note that the winning RS 4 will need to be collected from the winner on Monday 26 June in order to be installed on the Audi UK stand and will be needed for one week. Audi UK will take full responsibility for the protection and insurance of the car during this time.

Please submit your entries to (Competion Now Closed) with a photograph of your car along with some detail of why you should win. Entries must be received by 1 June 2012.

Should the winner be a member of RS246, we have arranged a deal with a detailer for a discount on a pre-show detail and inspection, followed by a post-show inspection.

Time Attack – Round 1 Cadwell Park – Team Milltek GT-R

A wet start to the season and the day, but things dried up and Team Milltek GT-R reclaimed a few positions on the leader board albeit some fluid issues both inside and outside the cockpit of the SVM 850-TSR. Team Milltek GT-R overcame all the odds and put in a great lap time of circa 1:38 which resulted in a 4th place, unfortunately not on the podium this time.

As you can imagine the GT-R attracted quite a bit of attention. Surprisingly, we managed to get a picture without a crowd!!

Look at the focus of this man, and this was when he was reversing!!!

We were wondering why nobody had sponsored the spokes on the wheels…

But seriously, this team is built from the same passion and enthusiasm that burns within all of us (It’s just some people take it to the extreme!!)

Of course this is an Audi site and the only Audi of the day was this S2 from Holland.

It’s a shame it wasn’t the fastest car today and also a shame the driver didn’t see the blue flag or the green GT-R, on a hot lap, in his rear view mirror.
